Asking for Prayer

We believe that God loves each of us individually, knows us intimately and shares with us our sorrows and joys.

Prayer is a way of being with God, drawing close to Him to talk and to listen to Him. Prayer is also a channel of His healing power and grace.

At St. Mary’s there are people who pray regularly for anyone who requests prayer for him/herself, for other people or for situations about which they are worried or concerned.

We believe that God hears and answers all prayer according to His will.

How to ask people to pray for you:

• Place a prayer request on the prayer tree which you will find in St. Mary’s church.

• Place a confidential request in an envelope and post it through the vicarage door

• Send an email using our prayer email address;

pleasepray@st-marys-cnorton.com

• Speak to one of the prayer ministry team at a 10:45 am Sunday service (they wear praying hands badges) or to any ministers in Church.

If you would like to join the Prayer Ministry team or would like to join those who pray please contact the Church office on 01608 646202 or email admin@st-marys-cnorton.com.
